A rectangular garden measures 38m by 20m, to the nearest metre. Calculate the maximum possible area of the garden.

The answer would be 760m^2. In order to solve this you must multiply the legnth (38m) by the width (20m) and put m^2 at the end of the unit to show that it's area.
