Since the choices is from 0000 to 9999, therefore there are a total of 10,000 possibilities.

 

The possibilities that the number begins with a 3 and ends in a 2 or 0 is:

possibilities = 1 * 10 * 10 * 1 + 1 * 10 * 10 * 1 = 200

 

Therefore the probability is:

P = 200 / 10,000 = 0.02 = 2%

 

So there is a 2% probability.
