30 ounces is more its 1.8 pounds and the 1 pound 10 ounces is 1.6 pounds

A pound is 16 oz (That's 28 grams), so
Weight of Cheddar= 30×28 =840 grams.
Weight of Parmesan= (16×28)+(28×10) = 448+280 = 728 grams.

Therefore, the chunk of Cheddar is heavier.
