2(1 - 5k) = 2k + 38​ Distribute the factor 2

2 -10k = 2k +38 Subtract 2 from both sides and 2k

-10k -2k = 38 -2

-12k = 36 Divide by -1

12k=-36 Divide both sides by 12

k= -3
