the area of the circle.

solution:

[tex]area = \pi {r}^{2} [/tex]

[tex]a = \pi \times {14}^{2} [/tex]

[tex]a = 615.75216[/tex]

[tex]a = 615.75 \: {in}^{2} [/tex]

therefore, the area of the circle is 615.75 square inches.
