Answer:

y=4.875

x=.75

Step-by-step explanation:

6x-y=16

3x+2y=12

2(6x-y=16)=

12x-2y=32

3x+ 2y=-12

(get rid of Y and add down)

15x=20

x=15/20= 3/4= .75

if x= 3/4 then

3(.75) +2y= 12

2.25+ 2y=12

2y=9.75

y=4.875

(i hope i did this right if not im sorry!!)
