a right triangle has side lengths of 15,36, and 39 cm. what is the area of the triangle

This is a right triangle (you can confirm by using Pythagorean Theorem: 15² + 36² = 39²)

A = [tex]\frac{1}{2} b * h[/tex]

A = [tex]\frac{1}{2} 15 * 36[/tex]

   = 15 * 18

   = 270

Answer: 270 cm²
