Federalism is a system that unites different states under one government in such a way that each individual states retains it's fundamental integrity. The features of Federalism are as follows: - There are different levels of government that govern the citizens, but each level has its own jurisdiction in specific matters of administration, taxtation, and legislation. - It has two or more levels of government. - Some important laws in the constitution cannnot be amended by only one level of government. All levels must be involved. - To avoid conflict in financing, all sources of revenue for all levels of government are clearly specified.
